Fees and Policies
Fees
My standard fee is $120 per session with each session lasting around 50 minutes. Cash or check is preferred, but I am able to accept credit, debit, and HSA cards. In order to maintain and run my small business, payment is expected at the time of service.
Cancellation
In order to maintain and run my small business, I require at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel an appointment. If less than 24 hours is provided, half your session fee will be charged. If you do not arrive for your session or provide notice after the start of your session time, your full fee will be charged.
Insurance
I am an out-of-network provider. This means I am not on insurance panels. However, when requested, I am able to provide you with a receipt (also called a superbill) which you can turn into your insurance company for possible reiumbursement. Please note: not all insurance providers cover out of network mental health care. You are responsible for researching and understanding your individual insurance plan.
Confidentiality
The law protects the relationship between therapist and client. Everything disclosed to me in sessions will be held confidential with a few exception:
*suspected child, dependent, or elder abuse
*if a client is threatening to harm another person
*if a client is threatening to harm himself or herself and is unable to ensure their safety
